A vole named SOD lives with his little vole community under a suburban garden in New South Wales.  

All his life Sod has dreamed of “Overworld” where legend tells of a BRIGHT BALL OF FIRE hanging in the sky, making everything warm, toasty, and green.  

But voles are naturally myopic— in sight and disposition.  Sod must break from his community and culture to find his true self.  He must also get past a notoriously cute and dangerous cat, the adorable abomination knowns as SIN AMEN (Cinnamon, as the humans call her) to achieve his dream of reaching “Overworld.”

So It Came to Pass (Novel)

In 1977 when Douglas Adams was 9 years old his mother succumbed to severe depression and ended her life.  In the aftermath of this tragedy Douglas is haunted by questions, even as he struggles with the typical hardships of growing up and raising his own family.  Then, on the morning of his 33rd birthday, Douglas wakes in the bed he slept in as a five-year-old.  He is a child again and finds he has opportunity to relive events that took his mothers' life-- and maybe change them.  So it Came To Pass is a chronicle of growing up with trauma, a heartbreaking coming-of-age story, and a reminder that we are forever shaped by the children we once were.  CLICK HERE to read the first twenty pages…
